📌 설립 목적📌 Purpose

대한민국 전통무예종목을 통합·화합하여 무예정신을 진취적으로 발전 승화시키고 TAFISA 설립 목표에 동참, 국제무예경기의 체계화와 세계인의 생활체육무예로 계승하며 국위선양과 국가생활체육무예발전에 기여함을 목적으로 합니다. To integrate and harmonize Korea's traditional martial arts, advance the martial arts spirit, support TAFISA's mission, systematize international martial arts competitions, and contribute to national prestige through sport for all.

📋 설립 취지📋 Background

TAFISA(세계생활체육연맹) 180개국 회원국의 국제기구로서, 각 국가의 "고유무예"를 전승하는 국가별 "무예위원회" 설치 필요성에 의거, TAFISA에 의해 대한민국 전체 무예를 대표하는 한국무예위원회(KMC)가 설립되었습니다. As an international body of TAFISA spanning 180 nations, KMC was established by TAFISA to represent all Korean martial arts, fulfilling the need for a national "Martial Arts Committee" to preserve each country's unique martial heritage.

⚖️ 지적재산권⚖️ IP Rights

TAFISA 제 규정에 따라 본회는 국내에서 TAFISA의 심볼, 깃발, 슬로건, 휘장, 주제가 등 모든 지적재산을 보호하고 사용할 권리를 가진 대한민국 유일의 기관입니다. Under TAFISA regulations, KMC is the sole authorized body in Korea to protect and use all TAFISA intellectual property including symbols, flags, slogans, emblems, and anthems.

한국무예위원회는 2019년 5월 TAFISA 국가회원으로 공식 승인. 국내 무예종목 중 유일한 UIA 국제기구 등록 단체. Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. ~300 member organizations across 180 countries. Recognized by IOC, UNESCO, UN & WHO.

KMC was officially approved as a TAFISA National Member in May 2019. The only Korean martial arts organization registered with UIA.
